Time Out
I’ve been taking a break from all the sports stuff to see what happens with the financial hype around all sports businesses.
There’s a lot of controversy or bitterness between the owners and the athletes over MONEY. What people have to understand is that sports is an industry on its own. That’s right a true blue industry based on business practices. And like ALL businesses, they are in it to make MONEY. So that being said, the athletes need to do what the owners do, make as much money as humanly possible. I don’t blame either parties for the outrageous salaries paid to the athletes, if you can get it, then get it. Who wouldn’t take all the money they could get? You would.
The owners are only interested in one thing, MONEY. So lets stop the nonsense of blaming the owners for the salaries or the high ticket prices. If you don’t want to pay high ticket prices, then don’t buy the tickets or go to the games. For the most part, the tickets sold are usually sponsored by corporations anyways. The simple rules of business are supply and demand. If you don’t buy a product, chances the price will come down or the product will disappear. Will sports disappear, I doubt it.
Again, there is too much MONEY for everyone to make and the owners and athletes know it.
